The title said "Pore Refining" and "Brightening", and the listing said it refines pore appearance, resurfaces uneven texture, improves dullness and is non-comedogenic. All of that has been taken out.
This is a cosmetic serum, not a medicine. It does not brighten or lighten skin. It does not refine or shrink pores — pore size is set by your skin and nothing on the surface changes it. "Non-comedogenic" is an unregulated marketing word with no test behind it.
The retinol strength is not stated, which is the only figure that would tell you anything.
Safety — retinol needs care
Do not use retinol if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding. Speak to a doctor first.
Retinol makes skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use sun protection every day while using it, and prefer applying it at night. Peeling, redness, dryness and stinging are common — start twice a week and build up slowly.
Patch test and wait 24 hours before first use. Avoid the eye area, the corners of the nose and the lips. Do not use on broken, sunburned or irritated skin. Do not combine with acids, scrubs or other retinoids. Stop if your skin becomes sore or swollen. Keep out of reach of children.
