A bull float for levelling and closing the surface of a fresh concrete pour. The round end lets you push and pull without the corners digging in and leaving marks behind you.
Key features
- Round-end blade, so it will not gouge the slab on the return stroke
- Light in the hand for its size, which matters over a long pour
- Supplied with a handle, so it is ready to use out of the box
- Two blade widths: 1200 x 200 mm and 1200 x 300 mm
- For driveways, paths, garage floors, slabs and screed
- Blade size: 1200 x 200 mm or 1200 x 300 mm
- Handle: 4 ft, supplied with the float
- Blade end: round
How to use it
Float the slab once the concrete has been screeded off and the surface water has gone. Push out and pull back in overlapping passes, keeping the leading edge just lifted so it rides over the surface rather than cutting into it. Stop once the surface has closed - overworking it brings fines to the top and weakens the finish.
