Good to know

• These are impact sockets, so unlike chrome hand sockets they are made to take the hammering of an impact wrench.
• The hex internal profile grips the flats of the fastener rather than the corners, which helps with rounded or tight bolts.
• 1/4in drive is for small fasteners. Do not put it on a large impact wrench — use 3/8in or 1/2in drive for anything heavy or a 1/4in socket will shear.
