Plasterboard Rasp and Edge Trimming Plane for Drywall

A rasp for trimming the cut edge of a plasterboard sheet. When a board is a few millimetres too wide, a couple of passes with this is quicker and tidier than cutting it again.

How to use it

Stand the board on edge, hold it steady, and run the rasp along in one direction rather than back and forth. Check the fit as you go - it is much easier to take a little more off than to put it back. Work outdoors or wear a dust mask, as plasterboard dust gets everywhere.
