Check the width and the stretch in the product options — a band that is too tight gives you a headache after an hour, and one too loose slides off mid-run.
Wash it regularly. A sweatband worn against the hairline and then reused unwashed is a common cause of forehead breakouts.
Wash cool and air dry to keep the elastic; a hot wash or a tumble dryer will kill the stretch.
