- Check which head unit your car has — NBT, NBT EVO or CIC — before ordering. Model year alone is not enough; BMW used several systems across these cars and the connectors differ.
- Some cars need coding or a firmware step after fitting. Factory features such as reversing camera, PDC display and iDrive controls may behave differently once an interface is added.
- This is a Linux interface box, not an Android tablet. It runs CarPlay and Android Auto only — you cannot install apps on it.
- Aftermarket part. Not made by or affiliated with BMW, Apple or Google. BMW model codes identify only the cars it fits; CarPlay is an Apple trademark and Android Auto a Google trademark, used here to describe compatibility.

Easy install looks clean yet to wire up my camera but so far so good each cable has writing to tell which is which, " in English" .Same unit as shops in UK sell for more then double the price.
